Grab my code
I'm not sure if this works but I found the code to add one of those cute "grab my code" banners to my site.
<textarea rows="4" cols="24" style="font-size: 1.1em;" readonly="readonly" onclick="this.select();"><a href="<img'>http://housewifewom.com"><img

Remove No Follow
deleted the "nofollow" code. Open your html, back-up template (I never do this, haha), expand widgets, control F and search rel='nofollow' and delete, click "next" on your search box and remove the second rel="nofollow'. Save

Background Check
Just added a background to my Crazy Lazy Mother Blog. I loooove it. I got the background from The Cutest Blog on the block. So adorable. I've decided to go with the three columns and put the sponsors on one separate side by themselves.

Scrolling bar
For a scrolling box put this code before the list:
<div style="overflow: auto; width: 165px; height: 175px;">
And </div> after the list.

I'm loving blogging!!
Just taken a break from my research to post about just how much I am really enjoying blogging.
Actually, I haven't really made any money yet but I know I have found my calling. I can just kick myself for letting it go years ago because I wasn't making the money fast enough. ~sigh~ Imagine just where I would be financially now if I had just kept plugging away. Now, I can't even remember the names of my former blogs.
Ah, well, what has passed is the past. And it wasn't meant to be at that time. A every day has it's season. And other platitudes to keep me from strangling myself. Hehe.
I think I prefer blogging to the other types of employment mentioned in iWork because I don't like to have to deal with people. Not customers. And not bosses. And the beauty of blogging is that I can even respectfully decline clients if they prove to be too much of a hassle.
Plus, their are so many ways to monetize a blog. So many types of blogs to have. And, I can easily set the blogs to launch themselves at a predetermined date, effectively making money while I sleep. Woo Hoo.
I don't have a boss. I can say what I want and how I want to say it. My blogs are my voice and I thoroughly adore when others enjoy reading what I write. And I'm learning many tools that also help me with my other career/lifestyle choice.
Ok, I'm through gushing about my awesome career choice.
Back to your regularly scheduled reading...

Today's progress...
Working hard (ish) today on my blogs.
Look on the side to see my progress.
I played around with Gadgets (customize => layout => page elements => add a gadget) and added a subscription link and got that pesky technorati badge in its correct position.
I also edited my html to remove my navigation bar.

I just attempted to add FeedFlare to the bottom of my post but I think I screwed it up and, thus, I am putting it on the back burner for now. However, I did get the Kontactr form on here but its too bad the darn thing got cut off on the side. Looks so ugly.
The only things that identify this as a blogger blog is that I need to purchase my own .com and I need to design a favicon and remove the orange/white B and I will be good to go.
I'm still debating adding tabs and changing to a three column format. I'll keep you posted!

Adding tabs code
OK... I'm not sure I'm in love with these tabs, but you can probably tweak them for your blog. You'll have to change the colors (unless you want teal)
Go to Layout and Add a Gadget. (you want to add it directly under the header. If you don't have that option, add it and try moving it up there. If it won't let you, in your HTML the header is set to 'max widgets=1" and that number needs to be changed to 2.
You should select the HTML Gadget. Then use this, but add your links where it says "whereyouwantittogo" -- You'll see where they go down in the second section of the code.
<style type="text/css">
/*- Menu Tabs J--------------------------- */
#tablist{
padding: 1px 1;
margin-left: 1px;
margin-bottom: 0;
margin-top: 0.2em;
font: bold 12px Verdana;
border-bottom: 0px solid gray;

Research and more research
Reading more on blogging and it is paying off. Finding more good sites to earn income.
* ReviewMe
* Smorty (think I may have already found that one)
* BlogRolled
* BuyBloggedReviews
* Chitka
* SocialSpark (repeat?)
* Izea
* Bukisa
* Hubpages
* Examiner
Also, I must remember to add this code to remove Bloggers navigation bar.
place this codeafter blogger team /*
.navbar {
display:none;
}
* {
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
}
And supposedly easy-to-use templates.
* http://www.thecutestblogontheblock.com/
* http://lenatoewsdesigns.blogspot.com/
Keep track of stats:
* Sitemeter
* Statcounter
Not sure about this site as I don't yet see the point, but adding it for future research.
* Qumana.com
And, of course, marketing site:
* StumbleUpon
Phew, read 100 pages on wahm in 5 hours and this is the info I garnered. Good luck to us all.

Blog Roll
To make my life easier, I am just copying the code for adding a Blog Roll to my blogger (to be done later, of course. Procrastinators rock! Hehe.)
This list can be used in a post or as a scrolling blog roll in an html gadget. To use it as a roll you need this code before it:
<div style="OVERFLOW: auto; WIDTH: 200px; HEIGHT: 150px">
<table style="HEIGHT: 200px" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
<tbody>
<tr>
<td>
And this code after it:
<p></p></td></tr></tbody></table></div></center></div>
<div class="clear"></div>
